Introduction

This blog is being designed for me to show around my sonic concoctions and experimentations. Most of the things posted here will be related to my music. I may occasionally indulge in the occasional witticism, polemic, point of view, etc, but the main purpose will be to show my music. So if you are expecting me to enlighten the world with profound wisdom, lay out plans for political action that will put our world to rights or anything of the sorts, I think it's best to lower the expectations a bit just to avoid disappointment.

I am working at the moment on 4 different projects/aliases or whatever you wish to call them. Those projects are the following:

  •  Hellelujah! - a project initially named the Avant Gardeners which had to be renamed when discovered that there was already a band with that name. This project is composed of myself and Hugo Gamenho from Portugal on guitars. Dark, murky sounding with some occasional Pink Floyd like flavours
  •  The K-Hole Philharmonic - a project comprised of myself and Pedro Galvão on guitar and bass. Long ambient epic tracks with some Sunn O))), Earth, early Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground type drones and noises.
  • The Vatican Bikers - a project comprised of myself and Yavor Yordanov on guitars and occasional bass. The goal was to make a cross between some aggressive techno with Jesus & Mary Chain circa Psychocandy or early Sonic Youth type of noisy guitars and feedback
  • Oliver Twisted - a project comprised of myself and Kaloyan Georgiev (a.k.a. Debazzer) from Bulgaria on bass and electronics. Heavy dub basslines with almost jungle like programming.
  • James Bondage - the alias I use when I do remixes.
All of the stuff I have recorded so far is available to listen on SoundCloud. I am currently looking for artists keen on having their tracks radically mutated into strange new shapes.
